He threw each of the ten shurikens into ten different trees attempting to seperate them in two pieces. Instead it went through part of the tree and stopped at the center. When he landed he looked at the cut trees and frowned. "Why am I so weak.."

[Kaida]

"You? Weak? Please do not make me laugh," Dusk said. He had was now sitting in one of the trees you attempted to cut down but instead of his usual wolf form he was in his human form "The other kids your age can't even do this."

[Naught]

He looked at Dusk shocked to see him and hesitated before speaking. "Im nothing like them though.. I should be able to cut down a few trees. Hell I should be able to destroy this entire forest." He walked to the tree to have a closer look at the mark on the tree.

[Kaida]

"It's true you're not, you are much more powerful then they are. But the cut down a whole forest thing is a bit much for even someone like you don't you think?"

[Naught]

"Thats why I gotta get stronger.." He turned his back to Dusk as more paper shot out of his sleeve and folded into shuriken again. The same chakra as before formed around his shurikens again.

[Kaida]

"Be patient boy, you will get stronger I promise you," Dusk said

[Naught]

Though Dusk couldnt see his face, he frowned to himself. "Its not coming fast enough. Im too weak, how am I supposed to be able to protect those that I love if I can't do nothing?"

[Kaida]

"Where have I heard those words before," Dusk said chuckling lightly "Ah yes, I do believe Kaida said something similar when she was younger. Now look at her, one of the best anbu black ops there is."

[Naught]

"I want greater strength than the anbu.." He sighed as he jumped up in the sky. While doing so his thoughts were clouded so his form was off and he eneded up falling back down hurting himself.

[Kaida]

Dusk was able to catch you before you before you hit the ground "You will Shire, it''ll just take time. In time you'll even be stronger then Kaida is."

[Naught]

He sighed clearing his mind. "I doubt I will." He wiggled out of Dusk's grasp and got to his feet. "It seems like a long way from here."

[Kaida]

"The next generation is always stronger then the last, this is always true. Beside with Kaida teaching you, you'll get there quickly." Dusk pulled a kunai from his pocket, charged it with chakra, then threw it at the nearest tree. The kunai passed through the tree cleanly, and the tree after that and the tree after that until it stuck in the fourth tree. "With time you'll be able to do that and more."

[Naught]

He frowned. "Show off, I can do that. You used one metal kunai." He sighed. "I did it with ten paper shuriken." He turned his head up from Dusk.

[Kaida]

"True true but I can replicate that with a pair of chop sticks. Once I did that with a playing card," Dusk said "Concentrate, try cutting down ten new trees again."

[Naught]

His frown faded away but he was still annoyed. "I still can't do it, not with paper." He turned his gaze to dusk again.

[Kaida]

"Try, really focus on molding your chakra around the shuriken to make them sharper. Think of the people you want to protect."

[Naught]

He sighed as ten sheets of loose paper shot out of his sleeve and folded into shuriken all on their own. He caught five in each of his hands and began to summon of the chakra around them making it as sharp as he possibly could.

[Kaida]

"Hmm very good."

[Naught]

He jumped up in the air tossing his shurikens and they left a trail of chakra behind them. They flew at great speeds and chopped through a few trees like butter before running out of energy. He landed kneeling and looked up at Dusk. "There, happy?"

[Kaida]

"Hmm and I thought you said you couldn't do that with paper shurikens," Dusk said chuckling "Never doubt yourself my boy." Dusk started walking back to the house "Keep at it, your mother will be joining you shortly to help."

[Naught]

He sighed and sat against a tree one knee up. "If I keep at it there will be no more trees.." He closed his eyes waiting for his mother to show up and help him wondering what he should work on next.

[Kaida]

A crystal shuriken landed about an inch from your foot.

[Naught]

Not startled by the shuriken shire looked up. His face hadn't seemed to change from the blank expression he wore before her arrival he just looked annoyed. "Must you be such a show off?"

[Kaida]

"Hehe sorry," I said and jumped from the tree I was in. "What's wrong with you, you seem pretty ticked."

[Naught]

He didnt answer up. He just pulled himself up and stood picking up the crystal shuriken and the standing straight examining it. The he turned his gaze to her again.

[Kaida]

"Careful, I don't want you cutting yourself," I said and looked around "Hmm not bad, your skills are improving"

[Naught]

He tore his gaze away from her. "Not really. I still suck." The then threw her crystal shuriken into a nearby tree and sat back down on the floor.

[Kaida]

The crystal shuriken shattered into dust "Why do you keep doubting yourself Shire?"

[Naught]

He kept his gaze away from her too embarrassed to see her. He hesitated before he spoke. "There's nothing to doubt.. I just have no skill."

[Kaida]

"Why do you think you have no skill?"

[Naught]

"Its obvious.." He squeezed his hands closed tightly as he kept his gaze away from her still embarrassed. "How am I suppose to compete with other people?"

[Kaida]

"The skill you possess is great Shire. Your fight earlier today proves that. I know many Anbu that wouldn't have lasted as long as you did."

[Naught]

"Really, prove it then." He tapped his foot waiting for her to speak.

[Kaida]

"You seemed pretty eager to fight me earlier, let's go then."

[Naught]

He froze. "I don't want to." He began to play with his fingers behind his back.
